so we've kept things simple. Signing up for your YPA trip is easy:

Choose a trip that works for you. Ask yourself: is this the right trip for me? Do I like camping or is that something I absolutely cannot handle?  Do I enjoy group settings and activities, or am I more a lone wolf? Is a shorter trip the right fit for me? Or, do I have the time & budget to go on a longer trip?

 

We want you to be 100% comfortable in choosing your YPA trip. Asking yourself these few questions will help you make sure we are a good fit for you. Make sure to read through the trips pages and our FAQ. The information has been compiled by travelers like yourself. That’s the YPA spirit. If you have any questions about any of our trips, your specific trip, or YPA, please contact us anytime. We are here to help and there's no such thing as a stupid question!

Complete transparency, no hidden fees. We pride ourselves on having transparent policies when it comes to booking, payments, cancellations and refunds.

 

Payment Schedule:

$200 or €200 deposit at the time of application.

 

The remaining balance is due 60 days prior to departure.

 

If you book less than 60 days prior to departure after you paid the application fee, you will receive an email request to pay the remaining balance.

 

Refund Policy

 

Cancel within 48 hours: Full refund, no charge. Thereafter, you lose the deposit.

 

45 Days Prior to departure: 50% of trip fee

 

In the very unlikely event, a trip is canceled, you receive a 100% refund.

Fill out the booking form, pay your deposit online, sit back, and relax! One of our friendly YPA trip advisors will send you a booking form confirmation e-mail within 24 hours. The next step is to receive a welcome package in your e-mail. It’s a summary of your next step, contains useful information (such as a packing list tailored to your trip and how to reach other YPA participants before the trip starts). You can also contact your YPA trip advisor for any remaining questions.

Fairness Policy

 

We want every participant to feel 100% comfortable in joining their YPA trip. Some people love to travel in very small groups, others prefer to be part of a bigger group. (Both are super fun) Until your trip reaches 4 people, you have the ability to opt-out for free (minus $5 credit card processing fee for the initial deposit) or change your trip departure date to join a bigger group.
